A 5-kg box is placed on a frictionless ramp which is sloped at a 30-degree angle from horizontal. A rope attaches the box to a post further up the ramp. How much tension is in the rope?

Fp = 49*sin30 = 24.5 N. = Force parallel t0 the incline.

T = Fp = 24.5 N.
