No, that is not the answer I get when I plug in to the quadratic formula.
I get
(1 + sqrt7i)/2
and
(1 - sqrt7i)/2
Do you understand how I got this?

Where does the seven come from?

sqrt(b^2 - 4ac).
b is -1 and a is 1 and c is 2.
So, sqrt(b^2 - 4ac) is
sqrt(-7), or (sqrt7)i.
