Yea .. i studied the democratic values and i know that patriotism is definately in there .. but some of the democratic values didn't include voting nor serving. But it did say something about the persute of hapiness, so im going to guess it's:

Patriotism and serving in the military ?

I'm amazed that your text didn't mention voting. A democracy depends upon the votes of its citizens. If they don't vote, they might as well live in a dictatorship where others tell them what to do.

I'm not even sure that the others are unique to a democracy. However, I suppose patriotism may be part of it.
