I can't see which choices you made.
simply , sub each point into the equation to see if it works
e.g. in #1
(3,1) into y = x - 4
LS(left side) = 1
RS = 3-4 = -1 , looks like that one didn't work.

Reiny - I have a question about the substitution of the ordered pairs in the above questions, shouldn't the characters follow this (x,y) format? ~~Signed Concerned

correct, I was following that format
in (3,1) , x = 3, y = 1
so in y = x - 4
I let LS = y = 1
RS = x - 4 = 3-4 = -1
so the point (3,1) does NOT lie on y = x-4
in (3,1) , x = 3, y = 1
so in y = x - 4
I let LS = y = 1
RS = x - 4 = 3-4 = -1
so the point (3,1) does NOT lie on y = x-4
