sorry to keep bugging you, but if it makes you feel better i am understanding it more.

what if you have the same numbers, but you are trying to find the concentration of an UNKNOWN acid. all you have is:

Volume of Unknown Acid
Volume of Stock Solution
Concentration of Stock solution..

how would you determine that? same process a previous question?

1 answer

The process is the same for all of these of this type.
1. Write and balance the equation.
2. Determine mols of the standard (whichever, acid or base) used with M x L.
3. Use the coefficients in the balanced equation to change mols of the titrant to mols of the unknown.
4. Then M = mols/L.
