CO2 + Ca(OH)2 ==> CaCO3 + H2O
mols CO2 = grams/molar mass = ?
Using the coefficients in the balanced equation, convert mols CO2 to mols CaCO3. You can see that 1 mol CO2 will produce 1 mol CaCO3.
Now convert mols CaCO3 to grams. grams CaCO3 = mols CaCO3 x molar mass CaCO3
