rose is getting a snare drum for her birthday! They are 14 inches in diameter. I want to wrap ribbon around 4 times. How many inches of ribbon do i need? write the formula, and show your work.

P = Perimeter

P = d * pi = 14 * pi


4 P = 4 * 14 * pi = 56 pi = 56 * 3.14159 = 175.92904 in

approx. 176 in
