Come on folks, this is silly.
4:37 + 2:48
= 277 minutes + 168 minutes
= 445 minutes
= 7 hours and 25 minutes
or 7:25
If you have a scientific calculator, look for a key like D°M'S
Use it for either adding/subtracting time or angles in degrees.

D°M'S

D°M'S
48
= to get
7°25'00.00
which you interpret at 7:25
Emily's last answer is mathematically correct, but
6 hours and 85 minutes = 7 hrs and 25 minutes
Wouldn't it be nice if time calculations could be done in the metric system???
