hello emily,remember the properties of modulus
|4x + 3| = 9 + 2x
case1 4x+3=9+2x =>x=3
case2 -4x-3=9+2x =>x= -2
|4x + 3| = 9 + 2x
case1 4x+3=9+2x =>x=3
case2 -4x-3=9+2x =>x= -2
