h(t)=-16t^2+96t

After how many seconds will the ball hit the ground?

A. 6
B. 7
C. 96
D. 0

My answer is B, is this correct?

-16*49 + 96*7 = -112

You must be guessing, not calculating.

When the ball hits the ground, its height is zero, right?

Note that

h(t) = -16t(t-6)

Now, when is h=0?
