What made you "sure" it was B or C ?
Did you perform a long algebraic or synthetic division??
Divide -3x^3 - 2x^2 - x - 2 by x – 2.
A. -3x2 - 8x - 17, R –36
B. -3x2 + 4x + 15, R 32
C. -3x2 + 4x + 15
D. -3x2 - 8x - 17
I'm sure it's either B or C, can someone help?

sorry, I meant A or B, because I am "sure" that there is a remainder from looking at the equation. I just needed someone to help go through the equation.
