find the area of rhombus if each side measures 5 cm and the shorter diagonal is 6 cm.

so I see with the diagnol and sides, two triangles, of sides, 5,5,6
let s = 1/2 perimeter=16/2=8cm
total area=2*sqrt(s(s-5)(s-5)(s-6))
= 2(3)sqrt(8*2)=6*4=24cm^2
let s = 1/2 perimeter=16/2=8cm
total area=2*sqrt(s(s-5)(s-5)(s-6))
= 2(3)sqrt(8*2)=6*4=24cm^2
