How many ways can Amanda, Basil, Charles, Denis, and Edna sit in a row if Basil and Edna must sit together?

If we treat Basil and Edna as a unit, we would be arranging only 4
which would be 4! or 24
But we could switch Basic and Edna around and they would still be together.
So total number of ways = 2(24) or 48 ways
