Grandpa Mick opened a pint of ice crew. He gave his youngest grandchild 1/5 of the ice cream and his middle grandchild 1/4 of the remaining ice cream. Then, he gave his oldest grandchild 1/3 of the ice cream that was left after serving the others. Who got the most ice cream?

4/5 * 3/4 * 2/3 = what was left in the end

= .4 of original is left at the end


call original amount 1
then youngest gets .2
that leaves .8
then middle gets .8/4 = .2 as well
that leaves .6
oldest gets .6/3 = .2

-Split into 10
-2= youngest
-2= middle

2+2+2=6. 6+2(Mick)=8
