Answered by ARandomCritique
-10x+y=4 is the function, so
-10 x -2 - 20 - 16 = 4
follow the rule to answer the rest. Hope this helped explain.

I wonder how Damon got that answer.

For some reason, the function rule for me is -10x+4=y
for those of you who have that, here are the answers:
(-2, 24)
(-1, 14)
(0, 4)
(1, -6)
(2, -16)
I got these answers by substituting x into the function rule.
Note: Enter your answer and show all the steps that you use to solve this problem in the space provided.

Answered by The weird guy:()
guys it took me a while but i found how he did it
first he took -10 * -2 = 20 which then he subtracted it by 16 to get four
the point is you do that get the answer of the multiplication then subtract or add to get an answer of 4 that's how he did it then of coarse he has the answers on top for you but if you are coping make sure you change the wording because the teachers will know where you copied from
besides from have a great day
Answered by The weird guy:()
he wrong his answers are right but he shown the problem wrong when he wrote the 10 he forgot to add a negative sign on it so his answers are right but he showed it wrong so if you already know the formula then use the negative 10 than the positive 10
trust me unless they changed it or dont have the same problem
also have a great day yall

Use the function rule to complete the table.
-10*x+y=4
x= -2 -1 0 1 2
y= * * * * *
-10x-2=20. The goal is to get y to make it equal 4, so y in this is -16, because -16+20=4. The rest should be easy since you know how it works.
Answered by Ur Dad
Find the function rule.
x -2 -1 0 1 2

y 9 4 -1 -6 -11

The function rule is simple really. y=x*-5+-1 The asterisk(*) equals times btw. You might wanna explain how you got it by doing the math so u get full credit.
