If it takes an object 68 seconds to make 16 rotations, what would be the period of rotation?

T=16/68

Is this right?

exactly the reverse

period = time/rev = 68/16

always watch the units

16/68 is how much of a revolution it makes in 1 second.

Not to mention you rarely use rev/sec in a Physics class. Rad/sec is more correct:
16(2pi)/68
Answered by Leo
so rad/sec is better than time/rev?
Answered by Steve
generally, yes, though in this problem, all you wanted was the time period, in seconds.
