When determining the slope of a line, what is the correct way to leave the answer? For example, my problem is: Find the slope of the line passing through (-7,9) and (5, -7)
After subtracting the y's and the x's,I know the slope is -4/3, but do I leave the answer like that or do I have to turn it into something else?

-4/3 is a perfectly acceptable answer. Trying to use a decimal value only provides an approximation.
