Question

during the collapse of the republic in rome what changes were necessary to administer a vast multi-national territory vs. a city state?? please help this is the only one i cant get.. thanks :)

A lot of people are needed to administer a large multi-national territory -- soldiers, officers, government officials, tax collectors, diplomats, supply personnel, road builders, etc.
