                Okay the question is: What is the area of a right triangle whose perimeter is 36 and whose sides are x, x+ 3, and x+6?
So far I've gotten x= 9 but I don't know what the height is and I need to know that to get the area.

    The two shorter sides of the triangle are the base and altitude, so area=x(x+3)
Perimeter=36=x+x+3+x+6 = 3x+9
so x=9. So area =9(9+3) or...
