there are 1000 bricks and when they are stacked neatly they measure 2m by 1m by 1m. What is the volume of the stack?

The Volume is 2m^3. Because the formula is w x l x h. So therefore the volume of the stack is 2000m^3. As for The mass you need the density, and from there the formula is m = DV. ((But that information wasn't provided, I would need grams or some other unit)). Hoped it helped!!
