Yes, speed gains due to gravity, but once at a certain speed - it will remain at that speed and it's velocity will be constant at it's limit.
It just can't gather enough velocity.

It's not A, because as @Drew said, gravity does increase a falling object's speed, but only to a certain point, it can't be B because air resistance slows falling objects as opposed to making them gain speed, so it's either C or D, if I had to guess, probably D, that's what I'm going with.
