Need help to simply:
3x+2y=-18
-2x+5y=-26

One way is elimination, where you multiply the equations to enable addition to eliminate one variable:

6x+4y = -36
-6x+15y = -78

now if you add them up you get

19y = -114

Thus, having y, you can now get x from either equation.
