For anyone in 2018 looking for the answers to the Connections Academy MyStory and Chapter Atlas Quiz the answers are
1. Atolls (google the word "atolls" and you will know its correct)
2. The area has little water and arable land (you would know by reading the lesson pr googling about the climate)
3. Plate movement isolated many species (plate tectonics is the shifting of plates under the earths surface. most people think the answer is C that few volcanoes formed BUT plate tectonics can actually for volcanoes so saying their aren't many isn't correct. Also if you do research you will find out that this shifting causes mountains such as the Himalayas. So anyway, the answer is B because... well i don't know how to explain. Really it just makes the most sense.)
4. on a low island (again don't really know how to explain this one)
5. the region would need more fertile land and water (most people don't think about this but in Australia there is a large amount of desert)
6. studying Maori culture in schools (Maori are people who went to Australia some time between 1250 and 3000. They got there by canoe. Their language is still part of the culture today and they make 14% of the population)
7. the British disregarded the cultures of the original inhabitants (again can't explain this one either but all of these answers are correct)
