The volume of a rectangular prism is 6x^3 -x^2 -2x. Which model could represent the rectangular prism?
A. Height: 3x-2 Length: 2x+1 Width: x
B. Height: 3x+2 Length: 2x-1 Width: x
C. Height: 3x-2 Length: 2x-1 Width: x
D. Height: 2x-2 Length: 3x+1 Width: x
I don't understand how to do the problem, I would appreciate if someone could explain the steps. Thank you!

since V = length(width)(height)
6x^3 - x^2 - 2x must be the product of 3 factors.
the first one is obvious, a common factor of x
= x(6x^2 - x - 2)
and the quadratiac factors to ((2x+1)(3x-2)
so which one fits ?
