the area of a squar floor on a scale drawing is 100 square centimeters ,and the scale of the drawing is 1cm:2ft.what is the are of the actual floor?what is the ratio of the area in drawing to the actual area?

In the scale drawing,
each side is 10 cm , (10^2 = 100)

if 1 cm ---> 2 ft
then 10 cm ---> 20 ft

area of real floor = 20^2 ft^2 = 400 ft^2
