price of senior ticket --- x
price of student tickets -- y
day 1:
8x + 12y = 160
day 2:
11x + 6y = 115
day 1 equation ÷ 2
4x + 6y = 80
subtract from day 2 equation:
11x + 6y = 115
4x + 6y = 80
--------------
7x = 35
x = 5
back in 4x+6y = 80
20 + 6y = 80
6y = 60
y =10
Seniors cost $5.00 and students cost $10.00
