Please help me with this problem, I'm not entirely sure on what to do to solve it. Thank you, tutors.
The weight of an object is related to its length by the equation: weight (in pounds) = 3L^3 (in feet). If the object is 6 feet tall, what is its weight?
Given answers:
A 6 pounds
B 54 pounds
C 648 pounds
D 1,296 pounds
I don't know what the L in 3L^3 means. Oh, after thinking I think it means length. You know what? I think I got the answer now. I think the formula to solving this is 6^3? So, it would be 216 pounds, but there is no given answer for that. So, my formula is wrong. Then, could you tutors please help me out with that? At least, I tried answering it.
