It's the kind of word that's at the tip of my tongue but I can't quite remember it.

The bright, hazy light around the moon during a total solar eclipse is the sun's ( ).

I've got to fill in that blank. I do remember that earlier it was described as a halo around the sun only visible during a solar eclipse, because normally the bright disk of the sun makes it impossible to see.

please help!
