Which of the following amendments indirectly extended rights to a new group of people?

The 26th Amendment directly extended the right to vote to everyone 18 and older.

Yes, I think the 15th is the correct answer. It was meant to ensure the right to vote for former slaves, but was rather indirect about it. The 14th was meant to do the same thing, but was so indirect it was violated, making the 15th necessary. So, you choose: 14th or 15th. The 19th and 26th were very direct and explicit.

i would say its 15 because it extended the right for african americans to vote, but then right number 19 extended the right for women to vote
