    distributive property
(a+b)(c+d) = (a+b)(c) + (a+b)(d)
= ac + bc + ad + bd
factor
ac + bc + ad + bd = (a+b)c + (a+b)d
= (a+b)(c+d)
so the same really, just moving in opposite directions

(a+b)(c+d) = (a+b)(c) + (a+b)(d)
= ac + bc + ad + bd
factor
ac + bc + ad + bd = (a+b)c + (a+b)d
= (a+b)(c+d)
so the same really, just moving in opposite directions
