How many grams of NaOH are in 500 mLm of a 0.50M solution?

500mL --> .5L
MM NaOH = 39.997g

M x V = n

.5 x .5 = .25moleNaOH

.25moleNaOH x (39.99711gNaOH / 1moleNaOH) = 10.gNaOH

Is this right? If not, what am I doing wrong?
