Directions: Using the value given in the following problem, find what the slope of the graph for this function would be.


f(x)=2x^2+5x-7/x^2 when x=-4

dividing through by x^2,
f(x) = 2 + 5/x - 7/x^2
f'(x) = -5/x^2 + 14/x^3
f'(-4) = -5/16 - 14/64 = -17/32
