An online retailer sells two packages of protein bars.
Package A: 10-pack of 2.1 ounce bars
Cost A: $15.37

Package B: 12-pack of 1.4 ounce bars
Cost B: $15.35

1)Which package has the better per bar?
2)Which package has the better price per ounce?
3)Which package do you think is a better buy? Justify your reasoning.
THANK YOU!

this website is so stupid i could write a whole 1000 letter essay about it to make it better and it would still be worse, even if you tried tweaking it the most.

i got the ACTUAL answer

$15.37/10 = $1.54 bc you cant have $1.537 so you have to round :)

then

$15.35/12 = $1.279166666666667 so you would have to round it to be a valid price so you get $1.28 as the 1st part

2nd part! (your doing amazing my guys)

to find the better prive per ounce you divide the first answer we got by the ounce per bar.

so it would be $1.54/2.1 = 0.7777... so we make it a valid price and turn it into $0.78 per ounce! :)

$1.28/1.4 = $0.914285714285714 rounding to $0.91

making the first option the better prive per ounce,

answers:
14. a) The second option ($1.28)

b) The first option ($0.78)
