Cool! I would also say things like appliances toaster, oven, fridge, ipads, microwaves things of that sort.

It innovated other communications too like the E-Mail, the telegram, Fax Machine, Telemarketers, answering machines as well. That's all I can truly think of.

Actually, if you look into it, the telegraph predated the telephone by a few decades. Toasters and other electric appliances had NOTHING to do with the telephone. Other ideas, like faxes, answering machines, etc., do.
