width = w
height of rectangle = (3w+1)
area of rectangle = 3 w^2 + w
area of semicircle = (pi/2) r^2 =(pi/2)w^2/4
= pi w^2/8
total A = (3 + pi/8)w^2 + w
height of rectangle = (3w+1)
area of rectangle = 3 w^2 + w
area of semicircle = (pi/2) r^2 =(pi/2)w^2/4
= pi w^2/8
total A = (3 + pi/8)w^2 + w
