If a recipe calls for 2/3 cups of sugar but I only want to make 1/4 of the recipe, how much sugar do I need?

(0.064)(2*pi*h)+(0.064)*4*pi*r=z*2*pi*r*h
(0.064)2*pi*r=z*pi*r^2
pi*r^2*h=1567.8

1/4 * 2/3 = 2/12 = 1/6

The answer is 1/6 because all you have to do is 2/3 x 1/4 and you will get 2/12 reduce that to 1/6 so its just saying 2/3 of 1/4 is 1/6 the symbol x means of so this of this is this
