You are a first responder to a suspected terrorist incident. As you arrive, a sniper shoots two firefighters. You then see a suspicious-looking man, with Middle Eastern features, leaving the scene. Later, while helping victims, you find a spent rifle shell casing on the ground. You should:

A. not do anything but continue to treat victims.

B. tell police about the man and point out the shell casing.

C. pick up the casing and give it to the police when you can.

D. point out the casing to the police, but pointing out someone with Middle Eastern features as being "suspicious" is profiling, which is illegal.

I think it's B, but not sure.

I think you're right.
I agree, too -- not only because of the profiling angle, but also because, if the guy isn't around anymore, what's the point of giving a rather general description?
