                Hello! I am having trouble figuring out the answer for this question:
A 60 kg water skier is being pulled behind a boat. If the propulsive force applied by the 500 kg boat is 2.50 * 10^3 N, determine the acceleration of the skier and tension force in the tow rope?
Work:
Fnet= 2.50 * 10^3 N
m= 60.0 kg
a = Fnet/m
a = 41.6 m/s^2
Fnet = Ft
Ft = ma
Ft = 60.0 * 41.6
Ft = 2146 N
Thank you :)

    but the boat is also being pushed by the propeller
m = 60 + 500 = 560 kg

m = 60 + 500 = 560 kg
