If there are 6 tricycle wheels and the ratio of tricycles to the tricycle wheels is 1:3, how many tricycles are there?

x : 6

x/ 6 = 1/3 (Cross multiply to get:)

x = 6/3

x =2

Therefore there are 2 tricycles
