I don't think any of those answers is correct. The question asks for the percent decrease.

The percent decrease is 15%, not 0.15.

I'd tell your teacher that none of them is right. Tell him/her that the correct answer is 15%.

actually, I get 14%

The decrease was $11.71

11.71/80.77 = .1449

which is closer to .14 than .15

Pick 0.14 - 0.14 <u>is</u> 14%
just expressed as a decimal.

The wording is not optimal, but the two values are identical.
