6*(5/3) - (5/6)*6 6 is the LCD

then we have:

10/6 - 5/6 = 5/6

since 1/3 = 2(1/6), you have

5/3 - 5/6
= 2(5/6)-(5/6)
= (2-1)(5/6)
= 5/6
