How do I estimate a salary?

I tried but I think it might be wrong

Someone earns $389 a week
I have to estimate the salary in 6 months which is 26 weeks.

I multiplied 389 by 26 and got 10,114
Did I do this right?

You're supposed to estimate -- not find the exact amount.
