Your salary is to be raised 10% and then a month later reduced by 10%. There it will remain. However, you may elect to have the cut first followed by the raise one month later. Which is the better option?

Let's assume the salary is 50,000
Option 1:
50,000 * 1.1 = 55,000
55,000 * 0.9 = 49,500
Option 2:
50,000 * 0.9 = 45,000
45,000 * 1.1 = 49,500
Option 1:
50,000 * 1.1 = 55,000
55,000 * 0.9 = 49,500
Option 2:
50,000 * 0.9 = 45,000
45,000 * 1.1 = 49,500
