And when you get the numbers straight, please do NOT write your answers in a straight line. Mathematically it is not correct. For example,
If the account were 25.00 and you wrote a check for 10.00 and added 5.00 to the account the new balance is NOT
25.00-10.00 = 15.00+5.00 = 20.00.
The new balance really is 20.00 but the math is not right; i.e., 25.00-10.00 is equal to 15.00 and not 15.00+5.00.
