let the number of deer be x
(16/800)x = 120
(1/5)x = 120
x = 5(120) = 6000
or
use a ratio:
16/800 = 120/x
1/5 = 120/x
x = 5(120)
x = 6000
(16/800)x = 120
(1/5)x = 120
x = 5(120) = 6000
or
use a ratio:
16/800 = 120/x
1/5 = 120/x
x = 5(120)
x = 6000
