a ton is 2000 pounds in English as opposed to metric or shipping units. I suspect you want the 2000 pound ton
then 7 tons is 14,000 pounds
so
14,000 / 40 = 1400/4 =?

Comfused? It is 40. I tom = 2000 pounds . So 7 tons = 2000×7 =14000. 14000 ÷40 =350. SO 350 is the answer. Have a good day ! 😊
