Please show me how to find ordered pairs.

2x+y =8

pick any value for x, say 20
Then 2*20+y = 8
40+y = 8
y = -32
So, (20,-32) is one pair

Or, pick any value for y, say 0
Then 2x+0=8
x=4
So, (4,0) is another pair
