For French as in math, you cannot make a choice by guesses. You have to understand the rule/method to get the right answer, and then choose the correct one.

These questions are based on the following:
the noun which the pronouns replace must agree in gender and number.
Gender is M (le) or F (la)
Number is either singular (le or la) or plural (lesquels for masculine plural, and lesquelles for feminine plural).

So to replace a noun, you need to find out the gender and number of the noun, for example:
"un hamburger" is masculine and singular, so to replace it we use the word "lequel"

"les dames" (the ladies) is feminine and plural, so we would use "lesquelles".

If it is a word you're not sure about the gender or number, look up in your dictionary. A noun is always followed by m or f, for the gender, and plur. if the word is already in plural.
