15=-7/8(45-x)
-8/7(15)=45-x
(-17.1428..)=45-x -> stuck at this step.

15 = -7/8(45 -x)
120 = -315 + 7x
435 = 7x
x = 62 1/7
120 = -315 + 7x
435 = 7x
x = 62 1/7

In your one troy,
-17.1428.. = 45 - x
then by subracting 45 from both sides you get
-17.1428.. - 45 = - x
-62.1428.. = - x
Multiply both sides by -1
Then x = 62.1428 which is what kudum had (62 and 1/7)
