Determine whether the following regular tetrahedrons have an edge length that is a whole number, a rational number or irrational number.
The surface are of a tetrahedron is given by the equation: SA = √ 3s^2
Surface are of regular tetrahedron A = 1.5
Surface are of regular tetrahedron B = 4√3
Surface are of regular tetrahedron C = √3/100
Why square root is so confuse.please help me.
Thank you..

√3 s^2 = 3/2
s^2 = √3/2
clearly, s is not rational
√3s^2 = 4√3
s^2 = 4
s = 2, a whole number.
Now you try the other.
